Two days before the wedding, the four men in the wedding party – Doug, Doug’s two best buddies Phil Wenneck and Stu Price, and Tracy’s brother Alan Garner – hop into Tracy’s father’s beloved Mercedes convertible for a 24-hour stag party to Las Vegas. Phil, a married high school teacher, has the same maturity level as his students when he’s with his pals. Stu, a dentist, is worried about everything, especially what his controlling girlfriend Melissa thinks. Because she disapproves of traditional male bonding rituals, Stu has to lie to her about the stag, he telling her that they are going on a wine tasting tour in the Napa Valley. Regardless, he intends on eventually marrying her, against the advice and wishes of his friends. And Alan seems to be unaware of what are considered the social graces of the western world. The morning after their arrival in Las Vegas, they awaken in their hotel suite each with the worst hangover. None remembers what happened in the past twelve or so hours. The suite is in shambles. And certain things are in the suite that shouldn’t be, and certain things that should be in the suite are missing. Probably the most important in the latter category is Doug. As Phil, Stu and Alan try to find Doug using only what little pieces of information they have at hand, they go on a journey of discovery of how certain things got into the suite and what happened to the missing items. However they are on a race for time as if they can’t find Doug in the next few hours, they are going to have to explain to Tracy why they are not yet back in Los Angeles. And even worse, they may not find Doug at all before the wedding.

ALIEN “You are my lucky star. You… Lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky.” ————————————————————————————————————————— Mint condition COLOR COPY of the full movie script with the signatures of: RIDLEY SCOTT AS DIRECTOR TOM SKERRITT AS DALLAS VERONICA CARTWRIGHT AS LAMBERT SIGOURNEY WEAVER AS RIPLEY ———————————————————————————————————————————————- Draft: Revised Pages: 100 Pages Release: May 25, 1979 ———————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————- ALIEN received mixed reviews when it debuted in 1979–largely from science fiction critics, who accused it of being little more than a sort of Friday the 13th in Outer Space, a blood-and-gore horror flick given a futuristic twist via special effects. But while these accusations have more than a little truth, it has been an incredibly influential film–and even today, in the wake of CGI effects, it still holds up extremely, extremely well. The story is well known: the crew of an interstellar craft responds to what seems a distress signal, only to encounter a remarkably lethal alien life form that boards their ship and sets about picking them off one by one. Some of the special effects are weak (the alien spacecraft and the android “revival” are fairly notorious). There is little in the way of character development, the film has a fairly slow pace, and the story itself is predictable; you can usually guess who is going to die next. BUT. The art designs are incredible: the entire look of the film, from the commercial nature of the spacecraft to the iconographic alien itself (brilliantly envisioned by Giger) is right on the money. Director Ridley Scott encouraged his cast to ad lib from the script, and the result is a shocking sense of realism–and the somewhat slow pace of the film and the predictability of the story gives it a sense of relentless and ever-mounting paranoia that is greatly enhanced by the tight sets and camera set-ups. With its odd mixture of womb-like organics and cold mechanics, ALIEN is a film calculated to send even the most slightly claustrophobic viewer into a fit of hysteria. The entire cast, led by Tom Skerrit and Sigorney Weaver, is very, very good–and the film abounds with memorable images and scenes ranging from John Hurt’s encounter with the alien egg to Skerrit’s search of the ship air ducts to Weaver’s terrifying race against time as the ship counts down to self-destruct. Seldom has any film been so consistent in design, cast, direction, and out-and-out fear factor, and although certain aspects of ALIEN are open to legitimate criticism the end result is powerful enough to bring it in at a full five stars. A word of warning, however: you’ll need to send the kids to bed for this one. And you’ll probably be up half the night afterward yourself! 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU Mint condition color copy of the full movie script (Final Draft) with the signatures of: Heath Ledger, Julia Stiles and Allison Janney All the praise in the world goes to every individual involved in the production of 10 Things I Hate About You,a film that rarely leaves my DVD player.I’m not a fan of Shakespeare’s traditional plays, but the modern day screen adaptions are brilliant, and 10 Things I Hate About You is no exception. The highschool stereotypes of the cool kids nobody messes with, the wannabe’s that try too hard to be something they’re not,the geeks everyone picks on and the rebels everyone is afraid of,mean there’s a character in this film everyone can relate to.The stand out performances are Heath Ledger as Patrick, the rebellious, feared and elusive bad guy who wins the heart of Kat Stratford played to perfection by fine actress Julia Stiles who has no interest in the opposite sex and is perceived to come from the planet ‘Loser’ while her more sociable, boy crazy sister Bianca (Larissa Oleynik)hails from planet ‘Look at Me,Look at Me’.Her good looks catch the eye of the smooth, suave and egotistical Joey Donner (Andrew Keegan) who is a male model, and fights for the affections of the prettiest Stratford sister with Cameron (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) the highschool geek, with a big heart and a big crush on Bianca. The hilarious Larry Miller stars as Walter Stratford-the kind of father who puts his girls on a short leash and desperately tries to shield them from the horrors of sex, drugs and rock and roll, and of course, boys.A typical teenage comedy, but its witty dialogue, goofy, sexy, cool and bad ass characters, and enjoyable storyline set it apart from all the rest. There’s plenty of memorable moments, romance, and clever and classic lines, all leading up to a predictable but perfectly good ending that leaves you with a warm fuzzy feeling about teenage love. ================================================================================================================================ Payment: I accept PAYPAL ONLY and please make your payment within 5 days after auction end. > Ship within 36 hours after received payment and cleared Item is located at an international location and ships from there normal air post takes 5-13 days to receive. This is a color copy of the ENTIRE 121 page script from the OPENING NIGHT of the broadway musical “WICKED” These autographs are of the following cast members: Idina Menzel Kristin Chenoweth Stephen Schwartz Carole Shelley ********************************************************************************** Wicked is a musical with songs and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and book by Winnie Holzman. The story is based on the best-selling novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire, a parallel novel of L. Frank Baum’s classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz from the perspective of the witches of the Land of Oz. Wicked tells the story of Elphaba, the future Wicked Witch of the West and her relationship with Glinda, the Good Witch of the North. (In the album notes, Gregory Maguire explained that he derived the name “Elphaba” from the initials of L. Frank Baum.) Their friendship struggles through their opposing personalities and viewpoints, rivalry over the same love-interest, their reactions to the Wizard’s corrupt government, and, ultimately, Elphaba’s public fall from grace. The plot is set mostly before Dorothy’s arrival from Kansas, and includes several references to well-known scenes and dialogue in the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz as a backstory. The musical debuted on Broadway on October 30, 2003. It was produced by Universal Pictures and directed by Joe Mantello, with musical staging by Wayne Cilento. Its original stars were Idina Menzel as Elphaba, Kristin Chenoweth as Glinda, and Joel Grey as the Wizard.[1] Although the production received mixed reviews and was panned by The New York Times, it has proved to be a favorite among patrons. The Broadway production’s success spawned productions in Chicago, Los Angeles, London’s West End, Tokyo, Melbourne, and Stuttgart, along with two North American tours that have visited over 30 cities in Canada and the United States.[2] Wicked has broken box office records around the world, holding weekly-gross-takings records in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, St. Louis, and London, and the record for biggest opening in the West End (£100,000 in the first hour on sale).[3] The West End production has played to more than 1.4 million people, and the North American tour has been seen by over two million patrons.[4] The show was nominated for ten 2004 Tony Awards, winning those for Best Actress, Scenic Design and Costume Design. It also won six Drama Desk Awards. The score of Wicked is heavily thematic, bearing in some senses more resemblance to a film score than a traditional musical score.[17] While many musicals’ scores develop new motifs and melodies for each song with little overlap, Schwartz integrated a handful of leitmotifs throughout the production. Some of these motifs indicate irony – for example, when Galinda presents Elphaba with a “ghastly” hat in “Dancing Through Life”, the score reprises a theme from “What Is This Feeling?” a few scenes earlier,[17] in which Elphaba and Glinda had espoused their mutual loathing. Two musical themes in Wicked run throughout the score. Although Schwartz rarely reuses motifs or melodies from earlier works,[17] the first – Elphaba’s theme – came from The Survival of St. Joan, on which he worked as musical director.[17] “I always liked this tune a lot and I never could figure out what to do with it,” he remarked in an interview in 2004.[17] The chord progression that he first penned in 1971 became a major theme of the show’s orchestration. By changing the instruments that carry the motif in each instance, Schwartz enables the same melody to convey different moods. In the overture, the tune is carried by the orchestra’s brass section, with heavy percussion. The result is, in Schwartz’ own words, “like a giant shadow terrorising you”.[17] When played by the piano with some electric bass in “As Long As You’re Mine”, however, the same chord progression becomes the basis for a romantic duet. And with new lyrics and an altered bridge, the theme forms the core of the song “No One Mourns the Wicked” and its reprises.[17] Schwartz uses the “Unlimited” theme as the second major motif running through the score. Although not included as a titled song, the theme appears as an interlude in several of the musical numbers. In a tribute to Harold Arlen, who wrote the score for the 1939 film adaptation, the “Unlimited” melody incorporates the first seven notes of the song “Over the Rainbow.” Schwartz included it as an inside joke as, “according to copyright law, when you get to the eighth note, then people can come and say, ‘Oh you stole our tune.’ And of course obviously it’s also disguised in that it’s completely different rhythmically. And it’s also harmonized completely differently…. It’s over a different chord and so on, but still it’s the first seven notes of ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’”.[17] Schwartz further obscured the motif’s origin by setting it in a minor key in most instances. This also creates contrast in the songs in which it forms a part, for example in “Defying Gravity”, which is written primarily in the key of D-flat major. In “The Wicked Witch of the East”, however, when Elphaba finally uses her powers to let her sister walk, the “Unlimited” theme is played in a major key.[17] With a $14 million capitalization, the Broadway production earned back its initial investment by December 21, 2004.[11] In its first year it grossed more than $56 million.[31] The production has been playing to capacity crowds for almost every recent performance (even to the extent that the sold out sign is nailed to the theater) and grosses more than a million dollars every week according to reports published by Playbill. In the week ending January 1, 2006, Wicked broke the record, previously held by The Producers, for the highest weekly box office gross in Broadway history, earning $1,610,934.[33] Wicked broke its own record in the week ending November 26, 2006, when it grossed a total of $1,715,155.[34] The Broadway production broke its own record again in the week ending December 30, 2007, grossing $1,839,950. That week the show also broke its own weekly gross records in Los Angeles ($1,949,968), Chicago ($1,418,363), and in St. Louis ($2,291,608), as the seven worldwide productions of the show grossed a collective $11.2 million.[35] Although West End theatres do not publish audited weekly grosses,[36] the London production of Wicked claims to hold the record for highest reported one-week gross at £761,000, achieved in the week ending December 30, 2006.[37][38] On June 23, 2008, the producers reported that over 1.4 million people had seen the London production since its opening, grossing over £50 million.[39] Per the same reports, the show has consistently been one of the two highest-grossing shows in the West End.[38] The Broadway company of Wicked celebrated its 1,000th performance on March 23, 2006.[40] Several of the other productions have also reached the landmark figure, including the North American touring company on 15 August 2007,[41] the Chicago company on November 14 2007.[42] and the West End company on 14 February 2009. MOONSTRUCK “Life. Family. Love.” —————————————————————————————————————————– Mint condition COLOR COPY of the full movie script with the signatures of: CHER AS…LORETTA CASTORINI NICHOLAS CAGE AS… RONNY CAMMARERI JOHN MAHONEY AS… PERRY VINCENT GARDENIA AS… COSMO CASTORINI —————————————————————————————————————————— Draft: Shooting Pages: 98 Pages Release: December 18, 1987 ——————————————————————————————————————————————————————- Loretta Castorini (Cher)is a woman in her late thirties, a widow, who lives with her parents in a duplex apartment in Brooklyn. She is engaged to marry Johnny Cammareri (Danny Aiello), a bland man, more out of a resigned duty than actual love. Before their wedding Johnny takes a trip out to visit his mother who is sick and leaves Loretta the function of playing the olive leaf with his brother Ronny by notifying him of their impending wedding. Ronny (Nicholas Cage) hasn’t forgiven Johnny for being the cause of his accident which caused him the loss of his hand (and subsequently, his then-bride-to-be), but he does fall for Loretta, and hard. After a heated affair Loretta out of respect for Johnny tries to avoid Ronny, but his dark looks and overpowering masculinity win her over. Meanwhile, Loretta’s mother Rose Castorini (Olympia Dukakis) is not only suspecting her husband Cosmo (Vincent Gardenia) is seeing another woman, but is also herself the subject of admiration from a college professor and wonders why do men chase women. Things get complicated when Johnny returns from Sicily to tell Loretta they can’t be married. The setup is pure sitcom, but the story, written by John Patrick Shanley with a deep understanding for Italian-Americans living in New York, is genuine: he gets the idiosyncrasies of these people and their day-to-day foibles and quirks, and all of the characters have a deep romanticism that comes through in key moments throughout the story. Loretta, a character hardened by the loss of her husband and knowing her chances of happiness are slim, slowly emerges as a woman who is so swept by the sudden recognition of love she becomes the heroine of La Boheme — the one who acknowledges the love of the man with the wooden hand (in a clever gender reversal), and Cher inhabits the role and makes it hers and in her own style subtly trades her frumpiness to a deep, dark beauty. Ronny is pure fire and Nicholas Cage exudes masculine power as if he were channeling Marlon Brando. The Castorini’s and the Cappomaggi’s, counterbalancing the central couple, both express their love for each other in two very crucial moments: the latter couple, on the night of the full moon when Loretta and Ronny consummate their affair — a rare scene depicting love and intimacy among the elderly –, and the former at a tense moment over breakfast when Rose bluntly reveals, in touching words, that she wants Cosmo to stop seeing his mistress Mona (Anita Gillette). MOONSTRUCK is not only the romantic comedy and date movie of choice, but also a beautiful examination of love and passion among regular people. The ending is a tour de force of emotional impact, the family situation going beyond the momentary complications to cement it in tradition going back to the days of immigrants, and is one that elevates this movie from being just another feel-good movie to a classic. MOONSTRUCK deservedly got its Oscars for Best Writing, Actress, and Supporting Actress, and has proved to grow beyond its time. ================================================================================================================================ PAYMENT AND SHIPPING INFORMATION Payment: I accept PAYPAL ONLY and please make your payment within 5 days after auction end. > Ship within 36 hours after received payment and cleared Item is located at an international location and ships from there normal air post takes 5-13 days to receive. LABYRINTH —————————————————————————————————— Mint condition color copy of the full episode script (Late Draft) with the signatures of: DAVID BOWIE, JENNIFER CONNELLY, JIM HENSON, GEORGE LUCAS AND BRIAN HENSON Growing up as a child in 1980’s New York, I remember being inspired by many fantasy and science fiction films, that eventually led me to start writing short stories myself (from there to my current occupation of journalism the road was quite short, BTW). Titles like The Neverending Story, Flight of the Navigator and Who Framed Roger Rabbit? captured my imagination and filled me with aw, and with time found their way to my ever growing DVD collection, as did Jim Henson’s Labyrinth, the latest addition to my nostalgic bundle of joy. The saddest thing about all this is that no one seems to make films like Labyrinth anymore. Viewing it again at the age of 25 just made me appreciate it even more, for all of it’s breathtaking imaginative figures, rich scenery and original plot; especially when some of the scenes seem somewhat dated while the essence and heart of the film remain in tact, even twenty years down the road. In short, Labyrinth is one of Jim Henson’s last attempts at creating cross-age entertainment through his world famous puppets, after bringing life to the eternal beloved characters of The Muppets and Sesame Street, and before his sudden and premature death. The story presents us 16 year old Sarah (a very young Academy Award winner Jennifer Connelly, A Beautiful Mind), who has an extremely vivid imagination she uses to escape her everyday worries… or so it seems. After asked to take care of her baby stepbrother, Toby, Sarah finds herself dealing with a screaming infant, instead of wondering away in her thoughts to a world filled with Goblins, Yeti-like creatures, and a King Atrhur-ish talking dog. After several lacking attempts at calming the baby down, she wishes Toby to the evil Goblin King Jareth. Fantasy and fiction clash when Jareth (the one and only rock singer David Bowie, who appears on screen with an extravagant 80’s outfit and some cute yet unnecessary songs) actually takes Toby away to his evil kingdom, where he threatens to transform the baby into a Goblin, if Sarah won’t find a way to cross a tricky and mystical Labyrinth on the way to his kingdom. Determined to save her brother, Sarah makes her way through the Labyrinth, meeting helpful friends along the way, whilst magical fantasy happenings occur around her… This is a true 1980’s gem. Treat it with care, and enjoy! ================================================================================================================================ SHIPPING AND PAYMENT INFORMATION Payment: I accept PAYPAL ONLY and please make your payment within 5 days after auction end. > Ship within 36 hours after received payment and cleared Item is located at an international location and ships from there normal air post takes 5-13 days to receive.
